Aptech Computer Education, in collaboration with Middlesex University, UK, hosted the mega career fair ‘Career Quest 2015’ on 12th June, 2015 at the ISBAT Auditorium in Kampala, Uganda. Over 700 students and their parents attended the event.
Career guidance seminars at the event focused on education & job opportunities available to students of Uganda, upon completion of Information Technology (IT) courses.
Aptech also addressed concerns about increasing costs of studying abroad. Aptech’s partnership with UK-based Middlesex University presents opportunities to students to study abroad at affordable costs. Aptech students enjoy a credit transfer facility that allows them to complete their education at Middlesex University, at any of its campuses in London, Dubai, Mauritius or Malta.
At the event, 12 students were awarded scholarships to help fund their education in the country and abroad.
Some of the dignitaries present at the event include Fred Omach, State Minister for Finance in the Ugandan Cabinet and Dr. AVS Ramesh Chandra, High Commissioner of India to Uganda.
